Ministry of Transport was established with a mission of develop a land transport system at minimum operational cost and re-build an efficient and cost effective transportation system which will enhance our economic competitiveness together with an improved quality of life of the people.
And also to introduce a mission centric, pro-active, knowledgeable and team oriented transport sector work force.
