BID FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 200 NEW 50-55 SEATER BUSES

ON EASY CREDIT/LEASE BASIS TO SRI LANKA TRANSPORT BOARD
1.

The Chairman, Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee on behalf of the Secretary, Ministry of Transport will receive sealed Bids, from accredited local agents of vehicle manufacturers for the Supply and Delivery of 200 New 50-55 Seater Buses on Easy Credit/Lease Basis to Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), up to 2.00 p.m on 04th December 2012. Bids should be submitted on the prescribed forms available from the Secretary, Ministry of Transport, No: 01, D.R. Wijewardana Mawatha, Colombo 10. Bidding documents will be issued from 22nd October 2012 up to 03rd December 2012  during office hours on payment of a non refundable Bid fee of Rs. 10,000/-.

 Bids shall be valid up to 02nd April 2013.

 Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond for the value mentioned above. Any Bid not    accompanied by a valid Bid Security will be rejected.
4.
 All pages of the Bid Documents shall be initialed by the bidder and his seal affixed.
5.
 Bids should either be deposited in the Bid box maintained for this purpose or sent   by post    under registered cover to the address given below. The sealed cover in which the Bid is enclosed should be marked “Bid for the Supply & Delivery of 200 New  50-55 Seater Buses on Easy Credit/Lease Basis to SLTB” at the top left hand corner of the envelope.
6.
 Bids will be opened immediately after the closing at the office of the Secretary, Ministry of Transport. No: 01, D.R. Wijewardana Mawatha, Colombo 10. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present at the opening of bids
